We are proud to be a main sponsor of WorldSkills Ireland 2025, a standout event now in its fifth year. Firmly established on the school calendar, it showcases careers in construction and is set to welcome over 30,000 senior secondary students from more than 300 schools from across the country.
This national event represents a unique collaboration between Government, Education, and Industry. With Sisk’s support, WorldSkills Ireland 2025 will not only highlight opportunities in Construction but also showcase the broad range of exciting careers available through apprenticeships and skills-based pathways across multiple sectors.

In 2024, 75% of attendees came specifically to explore practical, skills-based career paths, a clear sign of the growing interest in apprenticeships and technical professions.
We’re proud to support the joinery and carpentry competitions at WorldSkills, where three of our talented apprentices will be showcasing their skills during the event. Matthew Heavey and Cathal O'Regan will be competing in the joinery competition and Darragh Brett will compete in the carpentry. We wish them the very best of luck!

“We’re proud to sponsor WorldSkills Ireland and the construction competitions, as these events are critical in showcasing the incredible talent emerging in our industry. Our Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship program plays a vital role in training skilled young professionals to the highest standards. We recognise that these skilled tradespeople are the future leaders of our industry, and we believe that inspiring and empowering the next generation is key to ensuring the continued growth and success of Ireland’s construction industry.” Paul Brown, CEO Sisk
