With today marking International Women in Engineering Day, Sisk is proud to announce a partnership with Netball Ireland, becoming the official sponsor of its international women’s team. This collaboration reflects Sisk’s commitment to empowering women and supporting greater representation across both sport and the construction industry.

This partnership arrives as the players prepare for two major upcoming tournaments: the Netball World Cup Qualifiers (Europe) in Scotland in September 2026, followed by the Singapore Nations Cup in November 2026.

Sisk’s investment into the team will provide financial support, enabling athletes to focus on training, performance and the continued development of netball throughout Ireland. As part of the sponsorship, the team will wear Sisk‑branded uniforms at their upcoming international tournaments that Ireland will be competing in. In Ireland, there are over 3,000 registered members participating in the sport.

The Ireland women’s team nicknamed ‘The Emeralds’ are a dedicated group of female players who balance full‑time work or study with competing at the highest level, often self‑funding their international commitments.

Maria Kennedy, Head of Legal, Sisk said: “Netball Ireland’s women’s team embodies the ambition, leadership and resilience we champion in Sisk so our partnership with The Emeralds is a natural fit. We are very proud to support a team of female athletes who excel on the court and also champion greater representation for women across sport and construction, inspiring the next generation.”

Lynette Wall, Netball Ireland President said: “Sisk's investment in The Emeralds, Netball Ireland’s international squad, fits with our vision of fostering female talent and breaking down barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields.”
