Our Sisk Infrastructure business unit has won a place on the £1bn YORcivil Major Works 2 framework covering major infrastructure projects across Yorkshire and the Humber region.
The single-lot framework covers civil engineering projects valued over £10m, including highways, bridges, flood defences, coastal works and major drainage schemes. It replaces the current YORcivil Major Works deal that expires in December 2025 and sits alongside the YORcivil3 framework for smaller projects up to £10m.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Sheffield City Council will jointly manage the new setup, which aims to keep a strong pipeline of work flowing through local supply chains.
Alan Rodger, Managing Director, Sisk Infrastructure said: “We are delighted to confirm that we have won a place on the YORcivil Majors Works 2 framework and continue our relationship. This builds upon our presence in Yorkshire following on from the re-alignment of the A59 at Kex Gill, Leeds Public Transport Investment Programme (LPTIP) City Centre Gateways, Fargate in Sheffield city centre and ongoing major infrastructure work at York Central. We look forward to working with YORcivil and our long-term local supply chain partners going forward.”
