This year marks a significant milestone for us at Sisk with the publication of our first Inclusion and Belonging Impact Report, available to download here. This report tells the story of a collective commitment, shaped by the voices, experiences, and actions of our people across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Throughout the report, we highlight the actions taken across our six EDIB pillars: inclusive leadership, governance and accountability, learning and education, communication and engagement, recruitment, retention and development, and external impact. From training more than 100 senior leaders in inclusive leadership behaviours, to delivering award-winning initiatives like It’s Only Banter (our inclusive language and behaviour workshops), and hosting our International Allyship Day webinar, 2025 was defined by practical action and a clear focus on embedding inclusion into everyday leadership and culture.
Amy Martin, EDI Partner, reflects on a year of progress and impact:
"What I’m particularly proud of is how this work has been shaped by listening. Focus groups, employee feedback, and the work of our Employee Resource Groups all played a vital role in informing our priorities and challenging us to go further. The resulting progress, from improved employee sense of belonging to a reduction in female attrition, demonstrates what’s possible when inclusion is treated as a shared responsibility rather than a standalone programme.
"Of course, this report is not a finish line. It is a snapshot in time and a foundation for what comes next. As we look ahead, our commitment to inclusion and belonging remains steadfast, grounded in our values of Care, Integrity and Excellence, and supported by clear accountability and transparency.
"I hope this report offers insight, inspiration, and encouragement, not just to our own people, but to others across the industry who are committed to building better, fairer, and more inclusive workplaces. "
