Last week we concluded our Sisk annual staff roadshows, after four weeks on the road. Over 70% of our staff attended across locations in Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Warrington, York, Birmingham, London, Copenhagen and Viborg.
Key to these events was reflecting on our successes and learnings from a strategic perspective with the conclusion of our three-year ‘Breaking New Ground’ strategy and presenting our new 2030 strategy, ‘Delivering Together – Growing Stronger’ demonstrating our ambition and plans going forward to our own people.
More importantly, our roadshows gives us an opportunity to receive anecdotal feedback from our people that is only possible in face-to-face engagement. We also got to see some outstanding examples of local project showcases with innovation, H&S excellence and social value at the core of our projects.

The highlight was the opportunity to celebrate our people with our Sisk - Torchbearer Awards winners announced. We had 37 people across the business selected by their peers receiving such recognition.
This is the third year of our internal recognition programme. It filled me with a great sense of pride to see each of our winners welcomed with such genuine warmth and respect by their peers at every venue.
I look forward to attending our Torchbearer Awards winners dinner reception and meeting their friends and families later this year.
