The Distillers project involved the full fit‑out of a 17,500 m² grey‑box office building, transforming the shell into a high‑quality workplace environment. With multiple interfaces to landlord cores and stringent acoustic performance requirements, the project demanded meticulous coordination, technical precision, and a strong design‑led approach.

The completed space delivers a blend of cellular offices, open‑plan work areas, specialist acoustic treatments, bespoke architectural finishes, and fully equipped ancillary facilities, all supported by a robust MEP and data infrastructure.

  • As part of the project,  a series of student engagement days were organised, inviting college students to visit the site where theygained first-hand exposure to a live construction environment.
  • Community engagement was a key focus throughout the project. We maintained open communication with local stakeholders to ensure any concerns were addressed promptly and that the needs of neighbouring businesses and residents were fully considered.
  • A structured waste-management strategy was implemented to ensure materials were responsibly handled, sorted, and recycled wherever possible.
  • A dedicated cardboard and plastic bailer was installed on site, allowing all packaging materials to be compacted efficiently and collected for recycling.
  • Smart meters and sub-meters were strategically deployed across the Distillers site, including at the site compound, mobile hoist, and sub-distribution boards. These advanced measurement tools provided real-time insights into electricity consumption, enabling us to monitor efficiency and pinpoint areas for improvement.
