In 2024, we completed the Dublin City Council (DCC) Housing Bundle, constructing 216 homes across four brownfield sites around the Dublin area

The rapid build of social housing was a requirement under Part 8 Emergency Planning Approval and in response to the ongoing housing crisis across the country. These social houses were required by Dublin City Council, who identified four council owned brownfield land within residential areas:

Bunratty Road
78 units over 4 blocks plus 14 houses

Bonham Street
57 units over 3 blocks of 6-8 storeys plus 3 separate non-residential units

Springvale
71 units over 6 blocks of 3 and 5 storeys, and a separate Community Centre/Scout Hall

Cork Street
55 units of 3-7 storeys and a commercial unit

Sustainability

Our designs complied with DEAP4, Part L regulations, and NZEB standards, while also meeting IGBC’s Home Performance Index. We exceeded requirements for U-values, energy use, and airtightness, ensuring high sustainability performance.

Offsite Construction

Our off-site manufacturing company, Vision Built, designed and manufactured a Light Gauge Steel (LGS) system off-site, certified to ten storeys, that was used for primary walls.
