The rapid build of social housing was a requirement under Part 8 Emergency Planning Approval and in response to the ongoing housing crisis across the country. These social houses were required by Dublin City Council, who identified four council owned brownfield land within residential areas:
Bunratty Road
78 units over 4 blocks plus 14 houses
Bonham Street
57 units over 3 blocks of 6-8 storeys plus 3 separate non-residential units
Springvale
71 units over 6 blocks of 3 and 5 storeys, and a separate Community Centre/Scout Hall
Cork Street
55 units of 3-7 storeys and a commercial unit
