Key Service

The terminal is located at Princes Half Tide Dock on the banks of the River Mersey, within Liverpool’s historic docks, and operates year-round, supporting ferry services between Liverpool and Douglas.

Innovation

Digital innovation played a key role in delivery. The use of 3D and 4D planning allowed us to visualise all aspects of construction, integrating time sequencing to optimise efficiency. In collaboration with the client’s design teams, we ensured critical project information was delivered in sequence, streamlining construction and minimising delays.

Heritage

Throughout the project, we collaborated with an archaeologist and made use of the Maritime Museum. A major challenge we encountered was discovering centuries' worth of maritime history and artefacts, including ancient docks, chambers and access gates.
