Two new operating theatres

Alongside the two new operating theatres, we also delivered four recovery bays and 12 wards. Early works began in March 2024 with demolition of existing facilities. Through planning and communication this was all achieved in a live hospital environment.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) will be delivering over 5,000 ENT procedures for all of south east London at the new Lewisham Surgical Centre. This new centre, built by Sisk and delivered by LGT in partnership with the south east London ICB (Integrated Care Board) will make a huge difference in reducing waiting times for surgery across all of south east London.
