The project involved a number of complexities including working in a seismic zone, constructability of heavily congested service installations, working in live environments and adjusting to the requirements of a new jurisdiction with unfamiliar supply chain. Sisk employed a team which blended local knowledge and pharmaceutical experience to meet the challenges.
The milestone of 1 million hours worked without an LTI (Lost Time Injury) was reached in June of 2024, which was a significant achievement for the entire project and especially for the Sisk team.
Due to the fact that the project was being built in an earthquake zone, new and unfamiliar construction methods were employed, including the requirement to have he structural frame constructed as a monolithic concrete frame.
