We were engaged to undertake a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) for a key client in The Netherlands comprising of five data centre buildings. The site campus also included one single data bar building, which included two data centre buildings connected with an administration building.
Upon completion of the PCSA we had a master schedule agreed, procurement completed, permitting requirements itemised and tracked and all sub-contractors ready to onboard and begin on site. We worked together with the client, design team, and supply chain to unlock the power of offsite manufacturing. From prefabricated duct banks and MV chambers to modular roads with integrated drainage and preformed manholes. Our team also developed a suite of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to drive speed, safety, and quality.
In parallel, our permitting strategy focused on early engagement with local authorities and developing a comprehensive permit inventory for our client – which enabled them full transparency of the process.
Each element, from plant decks to pumping stations, was engineered for precision, reducing on-site risk and accelerating delivery from the ground up. Each building is designed to target Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.
